Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Nectar (Cabana Corals Collection 2010)

No nail polish for you today dear readers. I want to show you a product I fell in love with in the past few days. It is the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Nectar, actually my first shimmer brick. I LOVE it! This is part of the spring collection for 2010 called Cabana Corals, which is a limited edition I believe. From the other shimmer bricks I saw in the past I was a bit afraid that it will have too much glitter/frost but no. All you get is just beautiful coral golden shimmer, looks so beautiful on the skin (enlarge the pictures for full detail). Like sunset. You can build up the colors very easily, from a light sheen to more color. What do you think? What is your favourite Shimmer Brick?

Illamasqua Liquid Metal in Solstice Swatches

Summer is coming so I bought something I think I will use a lot. Solstice is one of the four shades of Liquid metals Illamasqua offers. It is so golden and so so so pigmented. The bad thing is that it creases like crazy on my eyes :( even with a primer. But it still can be used as a base for powder eyeshadow, or on lips, face etc. Do you have a Liquid Metal? Any tips to stop the creasing, except changing my eyes? :)

Léto se blíží a tak jsem si udělala radost menším nákupem, který v létě hodně využiju. Solstice je jeden ze čtyř odstínů, které Illamasqua v současnosti nabízí. Je zlatý a neuvěřitelně pigmentovaný, stačí opravdu troška. Negativem je, že mi na očích vůbec nedrží a to ani s bází. I tak se ale dá použít jako barevná báze pod stíny, nebo na rty, tváře atd. Máte nějaký liquid metal? Nějaké tipy, jak ho udržet na očích déle než půl hodiny? :)

Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights in Blushing Pink

I love Smashbox blushes and highlighters. In fact I think they are even better than MAC. I have about ten of them, but one is my favourite. I have nearly finished it and I will have to buy another, because I haven´t found a better blush. I like the fact that you can play with the five different shades. It goes on smooth and looks very natural. It came as a set with a cute pink brush and was a limited edition, but you can still find them on ebay for a really good price.

Smashbox vyrábí úžasné rozjasňovače a tvářenky a já je mám radši než MAC. Celkem jich mám asi deset, ale tahle tvářenka je moje nejoblíbenější. Už jsem ji skoro dopotřebovala, budu si muset koupit novou, protože jsem ještě nenašla lepší. Líbí se mi, jak si člověk z pěti odstínů může namixovat výslednou barvičku. Nanáší se úžasně hladce a vypadá přirozeně. Původně se prodávala jako limitovaná edice ještě s růžovým štetcem, ale pořád se ještě dá sehnat na ebay za skvělou cenu.

MAC Ombre Blush Duo in Azalea Blossom

With my growing nail polish obssesion, I tend to buy very little makeup, but I couldn´t resist this beauty :) This is from the Spring Colour Forecast Collection. It constists of two colors that merge into each other - cool pink and soft purple. When you mix these two the result is very pretty. You can apply this in a very thin layer or build the color up. It has a very light shimmer, which you can see on the detail picture. The shimmer is not very visible on the skin, you just get the glow :) I really like it.

S rostoucí posedlostí lakama na nehty si už skoro nekupuju novou kosmetiku, ale téhle tvářence jsem nemohla odolat. Je z letošní jarní Colour Forecast kolekce. Prolínají se v ní dvě barvy - studená růžová a jemná fialka. Když se tyhle dvě barvičky smíchají, výsledný efekt je moc pěkný. S tvářenkou se dobře pracuje a tak se dá nanést ve velmi jemné vrstvě nebo v silnější. Obsahuje velmi jemné třpytečky, jsou vidět na detailní fotce. Na kůži ale vidět nejsou, jen hezky rozjasní :) Moc se mi líbí.
